Eldon Koons, Melbern Koons and Donald Hodson (Hodgson) died after going into a mine about 6 miles northeast of Pleasntville in August, 1925. The Koons boys leave a father, mother and three brothers.

The Hodson boy leaves a father, mother, two brothers and eight sisters. The Hodson boy was buried in the Reins Cemetery and the Koons boys in the Spurgeon Cemetery.

The Hodson boy’s father was Charles Hodson, and the Koons boys’ father was Joseph.
