Millie Ann Miller was born in Russell Co., Ken. December 4, 1852 and died August 16,1923.

Came to Iowa with parents in 1862.

Married Nathaniel Porter in l869.

Eight children - William L., died 4 years ago. Living - Emma A. of Ankeny; Retta E. of Polson, Montana, T. E. Porter of Mitchellville, Anna E. Warner of Prairie City and Mabel Zaaijer of Prairie City.
