Anna Rebecca Bisby was born near Boston, Massachusetts June 20, 1842 and died at Prairie City, January 11, 1923.

Her mother died when she was 2 months old and was reared by her grandmother.

Came west with brother and father at the age of 18 years.

Her brother died shortly. Three other children had died before coming west. The father died in 1901.
