Emma Cochran Woodard was born in Van Wert, Co., Ohio on February 3, 1850 and died at the home of her daughter, Lella, on October 9, 1923.

Married Chester J. Woodard.

Came to Prairie City in 1868.

Three children - Charles C., Frank L. and Lella.

Burial in Sunnyside Cemetery at Long Beach, California
