Lettie Adamson Clark died March 24, 1887 at Prairie City.

She was born in Green County, Penn. September 14, 1838. She joined the M. E. church at the age of sixteen. She was married to Thomas Clark September 22, 1859. Eight children were born to her, four of whom survive. She came to Iowa in 1865.
