The father of Mrs. A. K. Campbell, of Des Moines, died a few weeks ago. Last week, Mrs. Evans, his wife, fell down stairs and several bones were broken, which with the jar and bruises sustained will cause her death. Mr. F. T. Campbell said, when he saw her last Saturday, that they were not expecting her to live through the day,

LATER--We read from Monday’s papers that Mrs. Evans died on Saturday. The funeral was held Monday afternoon and the body taken to Ripley, Ohio, for interment. She and her husband lived together sixty-one years.
