At Rest

Mrs. Sarah Ann Cotton-Cole died at the home of her brother Mr. George Cotton, in Palo Alto township, last Saturday evening, and was buried in the Palo Alto cemetery, on Sunday afternoon at four o’clock. Mrs. Cole was married in England when young, but her husband was killed many years ago, so she has been a widow most of her life. She lived for a long time in Jasper County, but of late has made her home in Des Moines. Several weeks ago, she came to her brother’s home sick, and gradually grew worse until her death, the cause being dropsy. She was 61 years old. The funeral services will be held in the Palo Alto U. P. church, next Sabbath afternoon.
