The Newton (IA) Journal, Wednesday, July 18, 1894

DIED - The five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Murphy Russell, of diphtheria, last Friday evening, July 13th, 1894. The little one was buried at Mt. Zion cemetery the next morning, the nature of the disease preventing the keeping of the body the usual length of time or any special services.

Another flower is thus transplanted to bloom in God's fair garden, where neither blight, frost nor drought ever enter or despoil.
