OBITUARY.
Nettie Price, daughter of S. G. and Margaret A. Russell, was born near Hillsboro, Highland County, Ohio, June 13th, aged 33 years, 4 months and 13 days.

In May, 1865, Nettie took violently sick from which she never fully recovered. And all these years has suffered such as few persons ever have to endure.

She was an unusually bright child until her afflictions came upon her, yet during all these sorrowful years there was many bright spots and little cares in life’s desert. She was kind and good in her better moments and was loving and true to parents, brothers, sisters and friends. She was united with the M. P. church, Nov 4, 1876, and was baptized by Rev. J. A. Bolten while pastor of Hixon Grove Society. She has lived a Christian life ever since and expressed herself ready to go and be at rest many times when her afflictions were sore. On Thursday morning, Oct. 26, she was found cold in death, just as she had expressed a desire to go many times in the past and be at rest. And as we assembled to pay a last tribute of respect to her memory we feel sure she has gone from suffering to reward, and all unite in saying peace to her memory. T. Nettie Russell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Russell, of Beuna Vista township, was found dead in bed yesterday morning, at the home of her parents. Miss Russell was upwards of thirty years of age and has been an invalid all her life. ~ The Newton (IA) Journal, Wednesday, Nov 1, 1893
