DIED.- At Oskaloosa, Oct. 8, 1893, of inflamation of the bowels, only daughter of James and Clara Landphier, aged nine months, leaving two brothers aged seven and nine years, and an agonized father and mother to mourn her loss.

The remains were brought to Killduff Monday and on Tuesday morning after the funeral services conducted by Rev. David Phillips at M. E. church, she was taken to Mt. Zion cemetery and laid to rest.

Ere sin could harm or sorrow fade,
Death came with friendly care,
The opening bud to heaven conveyed
