DIED - At her home in Ira, June 10, 1893, Mrs. Catharine Wilson, mother of Hon. G. M. Wilson, aged 93 years. Grandma Wilson was one of the best known women of Jasper county, and everywhere respected and loved. She came to Iowa with her husband in the pioneer days, and has lived a life of usefulness and peace. The funeral services were held on Monday last. ~ The Newton Journal, Wednesday, June 14, 1893.
