Albert Schweinebart

Baxter-Albert Schweinebart, 74, of Baxter, a lifelong resident of Baxter, died Sunday morning, May 19, at Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday, May 21, at the Baxter Congregational United Church of Christ. Dr. Harold Cooper, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Restland Cemetery in Baxter.

Memorial contributions may be left at the Boyd-Davis Funeral Home in Baxter.

Survivors are his wife, Odette; three brothers, Ed, Rinehart and Earl Schweinebart all of Baxter; a sister, Margaret Levis of Marshalltown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son in infancy.

Mr. Schweinebart was a member of the Baxter Congregational United Church of Christ.

The son of William and Hellen Breer Schweinebart, he was born Dec. 28, 1910 at Baxter.

He was educated in Baxter schools and worked for five years in Washington D.C. before returning to the Baxter area where he farmed. He later worked at the Maytag Co. in Newton and for 17 years employed by the Baxter Community School District.

After his retirement he moved to the Lake Rathbun area and remained there until returning to Baxter in 1982.

He was married to Odette Adams Sept. 4, 1930 in Omaha, NE.

Albert Henry Schweinebart was born Dec. 28, 1910 and died 19 May 1985
