Metz Auto Company Quitting Business
The Metz Auto Company, of Metz, has been dissolved by action of the incorporators.
This company was orgizaed [sic] two years ago and owned a garage and some real estate at Metz. They did a good business for a year when the Kating family moved to Newton. They had an opportunity to close out with a nice profit and they decided that was the best thing to do.
The officers of the company were: Julia Moffitt Kating, president; Ona Kating, Vice President; T. J. Kating, secretary and treasurer. ~ Newton Daily News, November 29, 1920
