Programme For Decoration Day
Services to be held Friday, May 30th, at 2:00 p.m. in City Park. Music by band, 1:30 p.m. Lincoln’s Gettysburg address, Mrs. Ella Yowell. Address, Rev. L. L. Weis. Formation for march to Waveland cemetery by Marshal of Day, H. H. Main. Exercises in memory of World War Heroes. Decoration of soldiers’ graves. Exercises at Unknown Monument.
(All school children are requested to meet at the school house at 2:30).
G.A.R. World War Veterans and W.R.C. meet at I.O.O.F. Hall, Daughters and Sons, Granddaughters and Grandsons at Mrs. Daft’s.
In case of inclement weather the exercises will be held at the American Theatre.
Everyone who can furnish flowers will please leave them at Mrs. Daft’s Thursday afternoon or early Friday morning.
