Birkenholz – Acklin
Monroe Couple Married Here
Miss Pearl Birkenholz, and Stanley E. Acklin, both of Monroe, were married at the McClellan rooming house this morning at 10 o’clock by the Rev. S. E. Wilkin, pastor of the Batavia Christian church. The officiating minister is a half-brother of the groom.
Mr. Acklin is a returned overseas soldier, having been a member of the Eighty-eighth division. The couple was engaged before he entered the service but it was decided to postpone the wedding until after his return from military service.
Both of the contracting parties are splendid young people from Monroe. They will reside on a farm near Monroe.
