Observe Silver Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. William Wallace were agreeably surprised Saturday night when a group of neighbors and friends came in to help them celebrate their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. The even had been planned by their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Norman Wallace and was a complete surprise to the honorees.

At the close of a pleasant social hour, the gifts were opened and admired and a tasty luncheon was served.

Mrs. Wallace came to the United States from England twenty-five years ago and was married to Mr. Wallace the next day after her arrival.

Those enjoying the silver anniversary party were Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wallace and two children of Moline, Ill., Mrs. Ed Hamer, Mr. and Mrs. Jame Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Williams, Mrs. Charles Naisbitt, Mrs. George Williams and Mr. and Mrs. William Wallace. ~ Newspaper unknown July 1941.
