Pythians pay tribute

Arrange Rites For Pythians
Graves of 110 To Be Decorated In Memorial Service Sunday
Newton Pythian Sisters and Knights of Pythias will pay tribute to about 110 deceased members in memorial services to be conducted Sunday afternoon at the Newton Union cemetery.
Following a brief ritual, floral wreaths will be placed on the graves of deceased members of the lodge.
Knights of Pythias are asked to meet at the K. of P. hall at 2:00 o’clock before adjourning to the cemetery. There they will reconvene at the grave of the late G. H. Nollen.
Four Captains
John Cook will preside as marshall of the day and the four team captains will be L. C. Willenbrock, J. R. Robbins, LeRoy Goeke and Kenneth Johnson. Clarence Snow, Will Jasper and Elery Scott compose the committee in charge.
Pythian Sisters are asked to meet at 2:00 o’clock at the grave of the late Mrs. Agnes McAllister, who was mother of the lodge.
The graves of deceased members to be decorated by Pythian Sisters are as follows:
