Mrs. Bessie Beals Brock, was guest of honor at a miscellaneous shower given Friday afternoon, January 8th, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Vessie Rhone.
The time was spent in hemming dish towels and piecing a quilt for the bride. The shower of gifts proved to be articles both beautiful and useful.
The delicious luncheon served by the hostess assisted by her sisters, Mrs. Buryl Norris, Mrs. Raymond Loynachgan, Mrs. Earl Pink and sisters-in-law, Mrs. Earl Beals and Mrs. Walter Beals, was carried out in the pink and white color scheme. This same color scheme was also carried out in the decorations of the home.
Those sharing in this delightful courtesy were Mesdames Pete Pink, Loyd Maggard, Walter Beals, Earl Pink, Tom Leonard and daughters Amanda and Margaret, Charles Gearhart, Beryl Gearhart, Francis Hill and son Charles, Frank Baker and daughter Helen, Clifford Baker, Will Baker and son Robert, Raymond Loynachgan, Albert Holtz, Andrew Beard, Ralph Leonard, Charles Watt, Kenneth Watt and baby, Earl Beals, Robert Hill, James Leonard, E. O. Herbold, Frank Annis, Buryl Norris, Maggie Emmack, Misses Mary and Cretia O’Mara, Neva Beals, Bonnie Sheppry, the bride, Mrs. Roy Brock, and the hostess, Mrs. Vessie Rhone.
