Stock Family Reunion - 1933

The Richard Stock and Henry Streeter families, who came to Jasper county, Iowa, in 1856-57, and settled in this township, held their annual reunion at the Ashton Chapel Sunday, Aug. 20. About 125 relatives and friends were present. Dinner was served on the lawn and the time spent informally. Those present were Mrs. Ora Hanner, Topeka, Kan.; Mr. and Mrs. Marian Smith and five daughters of Marysville, Mo.; Mrs. Sarah Enfield and Millard of Kalona; Mrs. Ida Cox, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Enfield and Ann Sargent and Mrs. Spaulding of Des Moines; Mrs. Sarah Stock, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Streeter and Jack of Newton; Mr. and Mrs. Wilse Brown, Helen and Lloyd Cox, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Shissler and five sons of Mitchellville; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Clapper, Mrs. Elsie Clapper and Willard, Mr. and Mrs. James Streeter and Frank Brannon of Rhodes; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Geddes and two sons of Farrar, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stratton, Mildred and Norman, Mr. and Mrs. Irvan Holmes and five children, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Mullihan and children, Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Tiffany and Clara, Mr. and Mrs. Denver Cross Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Harry Maxwell and children, the C. A. Maxwell children, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Tiffany and children of Collins; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Leonard, Mary and Martha, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Leonard and children, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Leonard, Harold DeReus, Bobby and James Murdock, W.
