KELLOGG (Special): Mrs. W.P. Janeway was honored on Wednesday, Dec. 30, when a group of friends and neighbors helped her celebrate her 91st birthday at her home.

Among those present for the celebration were Mrs. Floyd Miller, Mrs. Delbert Jacobs, Mrs. Arlie Antle, Mrs. O.C. Norton, Mrs. Don Marshall, Mrs. Cecil Jeffreys, Mrs. Allen Anderson, Mrs. James Fanning, Mrs. Bruce Parsons, Mrs. May Buchmeier, Mrs. Rose Edwards, Mrs. Raymond Lansing, Mrs. Myrtle Callison and Miss Franchetta Rawlins, all of Kellogg; Mrs. Janeway's daughter, Mrs. Roy Doane of Newton; Mrs. Janeway's granddaughters, Mrs. William Wood and Mrs. William Doane, also of Newton; and Mrs. Janeway's two great-grandchildren, Danny and Kimberly Doane.

The group from Newton brought refreshments for the group. After refreshments, games were played with Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Parsons winning prizes.

Mrs. Janeway still lives alone in her Kellogg home and does most of her own housework. She never misses Sunday School and church.

She received dozens of cards and gifts to help her remember the birthday celebration.
