50th Anniversary

Philip and Marjorie Lane of Newton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Metz Community Church. Their children: Barbara Hug, Marvelyn Adams and Dean Lane, are hosting the event. The couple was married Jan 19, 1941, and has eight grandchildren.
