Wedding Bells - A double wedding occurred at the residence of Mr. George Curry on last Wednesday evening. The persons united in marriage were Miss Ollie Curry and Mr. Ed. Hunter, Miss May Meckley and Mr. William Curry. Rev. Chambers, of Colfax, tied the nuptial knots; after which the many friends and relatives who were present proceeded to do justice to a very excellently prepared supper. That the newly wedded couples may have their share of this world's happiness, is the sincere wish of all their friends. We learn that Mr. Curry, accompanied by his chosen bride, will remove to Nebraska. Among the guests from abroad were noticed Mr. and Mrs. Garrett Rorabaugh, of Des Moines. ~ The Newton Journal, 9-29-1886.
