Aldridge Named Chamber President
Dave Aldridge, left, of the Fashionette, was elected president of the Newton Chamber of Commerce at the group's board meeting Feb. 3. Dave is a brother-in-law of Bob Thompson, P1 production, and Francis Birkenholtz, P2 laboratory. He served as vice-president last year and has been chairman of the Retail Merchants Bureau of the Chamber. Aldridge is shown with Norm Carlsen, vice-president and comptroller, a newly-elected board member of the Chamber. Bob Hoover, manager of public information, is also a member of the board. Officers and board members of the organization will be installed at the Chamber's annual meeting March 2. ~ The Maytag Bulletin, February 11, 1965
