Paul Kurimski, machining - total award of $20.28 for his idea to fold over the bottom boxes in which crowns are shipped on a palletainer. The flaps on boxes for crowns shipped from Plant 2 had an interlocking fold on them to keep the crowns in the boxes. The boxes were refolded each time they were used causing wear on them and it was necessary to unfold all the boxes. ~ The Maytag Bulletin, February 11, 1965
