Mr. B.N. Newman, living on the A.B. Craven farm, north of town, was the victim of a sad accident Monday afternoon. He was engaged in sawing wood with a power saw and in reacing down under the saw while it was in motion, to remove some wood, his left hand was caught and the fore finger cut off above the second joint.--Kellogg Enterprise.
