ANNIVERSARY OPEN HOUSE -- Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hutchinson of Kellogg will be honored at an open house Saturday in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. The reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Kellogg. Hosts will be their children Lloyd Hutchinson Jr. of New Lisbon, Wis.; Mrs. Francis (Doris) Froah, Mrs. Paul (Arlene) Myers and Larry Hutchinson, all of Newton, and Mrs. Gary (Marilyn) Rutledge of Clear Lake. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Lloyd and Elsie Koppin Hutchinson were married Dec. 27, 1922, in the parsonage of the First United Methodist Church in Newton..

KELLOGG COUPLE HONORED AT OPEN HOUSE SATURDAY

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hutchinson Sr. of Kellogg were honored on their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house Saturday at the Kellogg American Legion Hall. Hosts were their children Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hutchinson Jr. of New Lisbon, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Francis Froah, Mr. and Mrs. Paul W. Myers and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hutchinson, all of Newton, and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Rutledge of Clear Lake.

The table was laid with white net over gold. A two tier cake decorated with a gold 50th emblem served as the centerpiece. Serving at the table were Mrs. Gary Damman, Kathy Hutchinson and Kristy Rutledge, granddaughters of the couple, and Mrs. Lloyd Hutchinson, Jr.

Mrs. Larry Hutchinson presided at the guest book and grandsons Carroll Froah and Dale Froah served as ushers. Mrs. Carroll Froah and Mrs. Dale Froah were in charge of the gift table which was centered with flowers from the grandchildren.

Out-of-town guests were from Wisconsin, Clear Lake, Laurel, Milo, Grinnell, Colo, Lynnville, Marshalltown and Newton.

An anniversary dinner honoring the couple was held Wednesday night at the Fireside.
