REASNOR WOMAN BADLY BURNED
Mother of Mrs. Louis Myers Enveloped in Flames While Popping Corn.

Reasnor, Ia., Nov. 18 -- (Special) -- Mrs. Hiram Williams, 71 years old, was seriously burned when her clothing caught fire here yesterday.

She was popping corn on a range and attempted to sweep some waste kernels from the stove when her broom burst into flames. In her efforts to extinguish the fire her dress caught and her body was badly burned.

The Williams family has lived in the vicinity of Reasnor for more than a half century.

Mrs. Louie Myers, of Newton, is a daughter of Mrs. Williams and she is now in Reasnor assisting with her care.
