KUHNS, Philip
Farmer; S. 32; P. O. Prairie City; born in Westmoreland Co., Penn., Jan. 22, 1839; came to Jasper Co. in 1851; has 320 acres of land, valued at $55 per acre. Married Miss Dora Ann BATLES in 1861; she was born in Vermont in 1844. They have seven children - Lydia, A. R., Eliza J., Viola, Nora, Emra, Archy and Ary.
