COOK, Alva P.
Farmer; Sec. 11; P. O. Grinnell; born in Oneida Co., N. Y., Dec. 30, 1812; came to this county in 1856; owns seventy-five acres of land, valued at $40 per acre. Married Fanny BROWN Dec. 31, 1831; had three children-Charles W., born in 1833; Mary Louisa, born Sept. 3, 1835; she married Mr. Owen ELLIS; Francis L., born Aug. 7, 1837; she married Mr. Samuel CHAPMAN. Emeline ALLEN, his second wife, was born in Madison Co., N. Y., Dec. 15, 1812; married March, 1842; had three children-Emma A., born Nov. 3, 1850; she married Mr. George UTLEY; Marian A., Sept. 16, 1853; married William C. WILLIAMS; John C. F.; born Oct. 29, 1857.
