firm of WITMER & MARSH, Dry Goods and General Merchandise, north side of square, Greencastle; born in Lancaster CO., Penn. in 1842; came to Jasper Co. in 1869. Owns one-half interest in store and goods; his residence is in Greencastle; has a farm of 100 acres in this township. Marris Miss Carrie MILLINGER in 1866. She was born in Lancaster CO., Penn. in 1844. They have one child - Howard, born in 1867. Republican; members of the U. B. Church. Enlisted in the 214th Penn. V.
