RILEY, John
Farmer and proprietor of coal mines; Sec. 16; P. O. Newton; born in Lancashire, Eng., in 1842; emigrated to America in 1863, and to Jasper County in1867. Has eighty acres of land, valued at $75 per acre. Married Miss Kate GREY in 1865; she was born in Scotland in 1844; they have six children-James H., Isabel, Ellen, May, Laura and John.
