Farmer, Sec 19, he owns 100 acres valued at $3500. He was born in Rutland Co., VT on 11 May 1815. He moved to La Grange Co., IN in 1860. He remained there three years and returned to Vermont. In 1868 he moved to this county, settling where he now lives. The principal product of his farm is corn, has, however, a fine raspberry garden, from wlich he has sold as high as 2,500 quarts a year. He married Louisa M. PIERSON in Rutland Co., VT 1 Sep 1841. She is also a native of Vermont. They have two daughters residing at home---Mary and Ella. They have one son, Herbert, who went to California ten years ago and supposed to reside there now.
