EHLERS, Frederick C.
Mason. He was born 6 Dec 1829 in Brunswick, Germany. In 1844 he came to Philadelphia, in 1845 to Monroe Co., PA, in 1849 to Wayne Co. PA and there learned his trade. In 1853 he went to Easton, PA and worked at his trade till 1856, when he moved to Dubuque, Iowa. In 1864 to Jackson co., Iowa and in 1866 to Jasper Co. He owns his residence in the city. He married Mrs. Caroline MILLSOP in 1864. they have one adopted child---Maud. ~ "Newton Township Biographies," The History of Jasper County, Iowa, (Chicago: Western Historical Company, 1878)
