His second wife, Rhoda J. HOLBROOK, was born in La Salle Co., Illinois, July 31, 1833, and married August 31, 1855; their children's names are Emma Nancy, born July 30, 1856; Charles Alexander, born March 11, 1858; Hiram E., born April 1, 1860; Grant, born January 1, 1864; Joseph W., born October 27, 1867; John W., born March 13, 1871. His first wife Rebecca WILSON, was born in Champaign Co., Ohio, August 15, 1831.
