HART, William C.
Farmer; Sec. 31; P. O. Pella, Marion Co.; owns 270 acres, valued at $10,000; born in Yorkshire, Eng., April 12, 1828; came to America with his parents when about 2 ½ years old, settling in Morgan Co., Ill., where Mr. HART resided till 1867, when he moved to this county, settling where he now lives. He married Elizabeth POTTER in Scott Co., Ill., July 3, 1859; she was born in Yorkshire, Eng.; their children are James H., born in Scott Co.; Calvert E., born in Scott Co.; Mary A., born in Morgan Co.; Charles F., Walter E. and Cora E. were born in Jasper Co.
