JOYCE, William F.
Framer; Sec. 35; P. O. Grinnell; born in Ireland Aug. 26, 1845; came to this country in 1861, and to this county in 1876. Married Mary J. FORSTERS July 3, 1876; she was born in Indiana in April, 1846. Owns eighty acres of land, valued at $25 per acre. Have one child - Olive, born May 13, 1877. Mr. J. enlisted in the United States Navy in 1861, and served three years in the frigates Sabine and Chillicothe at the bombardment of Fort Pickens and in the Mississippi Squadron; also served from August, 1864, to June, 1865, in Co.
