KODER, S.
He was born 14 Nov 1842 in Richland Co. OH, remaining there until the Fall of 1847, at which time his parents removed to Iowa, settling near Eddyville, in Wapello Co. They remained there till the Fall of 1851, when they removed to Jasper Co., IA. After a few months they moved to Red Rock Twp, Marion Co. His mother still resides there, a widow, having lost her husband 5 Jun 1871. S. Koder remained with his mother until the Spring of 1877, and then removed to Jasper Co. He married 8 mar 1876 at which time he was engaged in the study of law under the tutelage of his brother, J. Koder.
