BUSHONG, George W.; Farmer, Sec. 36, P.O. Lynnville. He was born in Logan Co., OH in 1834 and located in this county in 1858. Enlisted in 10th I. V. I., Co F on 20 Aug 1861. He mustered out 11 Oct 1864 at Davenport, Iowa. He then located in Poweshiek Co, IA, returned to this county in 1866. He married Miss Elizabeth PHILLIPS in 1856. She was born in Putnam Co., OH in 1837. Their children are U. Abra, William A., M. E. J., Charles E. They are members of the Christian Church. He is a Republican.
