MEAD, Lewis P.
Farmer; Sec. 21; P. O. Mitchellville; born in Chemung Co., N. Y., Dec. 1834; came to Lenawee Co., Mich. in 1836; thence to Fulton Co., Ohio in 1863; and to Jasper Co. in 1867. Has 160 acres of land, valued at $55 per acre. Married Miss Mary A. HAGAMAN in 1860; she was born in Lenawee Co., Mich. in 1838. They have two children - Annie E. and Ira J. Democrat; members of the Christian Church. Township Trustee; on School Board; member of A., F. & A. M.
