Farmer; S. 31; P. O. Mitchellville; born in Van Buren Co., Iowa in Feb. 1851; came to Mahaska Co. in 1856; thence to Jasper Co. in 1864. Has 120 acres of land, valued at $55 per acre. Married Flora A. STARKS in 1873; she was born in St. Lawrence Co., N.Y. in Feb. 1854. They have three children - Nellie, Freddie and Eliza. Republican; he is a member of the M. E.
