MASON, Louis F.
Farmer; Sec. 9; P. O. Grinnell; born in Centre Co., Penn., March 8, 1841; came to Jaser[sic] Co. in Aug., 1847; owns 506 acres of land, valued at $30 per acre. He is a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and is a Republican in politics. His wife, Jennie R. RHONE, was born in the same county Aug. 28, 1843. Married in 1865; their children are Verbena G., born Aug. 8, 1866; Robert S., June 24, 1870; Mary B., Nov. 21, 1874; Charles R., Sept. 23, 1877. Mr. MASON enlisted in the Union army Dec. 19, 1861, and served with the Army of the Potomac till the termination of the war, and was mustered out July 4, 1865.
