JAPCKE, William
Farmer; Sec. 7; P. O. Kellogg; born in Mecklenburg Schwerin, Germany, Nov. 14, 1828; came to this country on 1857, and to this county in 1869; owns ninety-six acres of land, valued at $25 per acre. He is a member of the Lutheran Church. His wife, Louisa TIMM, was born in the same country in 1837; they were married April, 1864; have four children Henerette, born Dec. 26, 1865; Louisa, born Jan. 18, 1867; William, born Sept. 6, 1868, and Bettie, born March 26, 1871. ~ "Rock Creek Township Biographies," The History of Jasper County, Iowa, (Chicago: Western Historical Company, 1878)
