KUHNS, Reuben
Farmer; Sec. 21; P. O. Newton; born in Westmoreland Co., Penn., in 1808; came to Jasper Co., in 1855; owns 100 acres of land, valued at $75 per acre, and a residence with sixteen lots on Kellogg st., Newton, worth $3,300. Married Miss Elizabeth BURNER in 1833; she was born in Shenandoah Co., Va., in 1812; they have four children-Elias, Reuben W., Daniel and Dennis. Republican; Mr. KUHNS is a member of the United Presbyterian Church, and Mrs. K. of the M. E. Church.
