KENNEDY, J. T.
Farmer; Sec. 17; P. O. Newton; born in Hendricks Co., Ind., in 1834; came to Jasper Co. in 1851; has forty acres of land, valued at $60 per acre. He married Lucinda NEWTON in 1866; she was born in Hendricks Co., Ind., in 1841; they have three children-William A., Ray and Henry T. Greenbacker. Has held the offices of Township Trustee and School Director. Enlisted in the 2d I. V. I.
