HUDDLESTON, S. M. O.
Stock dealer, Monroe. He was born in Macoupin Co., IL in 1834, remained there until 1846 and came to Henry Co, Iowa until 1855. He then returned to Macoupin Co., IL and engaged ion the mercantile business for two years, then engaged in farming , stock raising and dealing in stock until 1870 when he came to this place and made it his home. He also owns and oversees a farm of 540 acres of land. He Married Miss Martha CARR in Macoupin Co., IL. She was born in Kentucky. They have five children---Clara C, H.
