BARTHOLOMEW, H. C.
Of the firm of Card & Co., furniture manufacturers, Monroe, Iowa. He was born in Walworth,WI in 1843, where he remained until twenty years of age. He then came to Buchanan Co., IA, thence to this town in 1865. He married Miss Ellen M. CARD in Buchanan Co., IA in March 1865. She was born in Broome Co., NY. They have three children--Eva, Carrie L., and Della M. Mr. B. is Secretary of the I.O.O.F. He is a Republican.
