WILLIAMS, James M.; Farmer; Sec. 32; P. O. Monroe; was born in Randolph Co., North Carolina, January 15, 1815; owns 160 acres of land, valued at $40 per acre, and he is out of debt. His second wife, Lexa GUTHRIE, was born January 1, 1822; they were married December 11, 1856. Children by first wife-James G., born December 15, 1857; Leroy, born September 26, 1862. Mr. WILLIAMS has two tame plum trees, two pear trees, 180 apple trees, and 300 grape vines. Mr. WILLIAMS enlisted in Co. G, 18th I. V. I., and was in the battles of Springfield, Missouri, Poison Spring, Saline River, and skirmished fifty days down the Red River, and back to Fort Smith under General STEELE.
