LESTER, Amos; Farmer; Sec. 20; P. O. Fairmount; born in Tompkins Co., N. Y., May 8, 1824, came to Illinois and lived many years; settled in this county in March, 1875; owns 160 acres of land, valued at$35 per acre. His wife, Olive BENNETT, was born in Cayuga Co., N.
