MENDENHALL, Jacob; Farmer, Sec. 35, P. O. Lynnville. He was born in Guilford Co., NC in 1852, and located in this county in 1868. He married Hannah MORGAN in 1846; she died in 1870. their children are Miles R., Joseph Q., Lina Metilla, Ella, Elmer C., and Tillman H. He married his second wife Sally Doan in 1876. She was born in North Carolina. They have one child-- baby. They are members of the Friends' Society. He is a Republican.
