Maquoketa Excelsior, June 26, 1873.

Died.

SNOW – In this city, Thursday, June 19, Clarissa M., wife of S. W. Snow, aged 25 years.

Mrs. Snow had been suffering a long time from destroying, wasting consumption. She was for many years a resident of this city, where also reside a large circle of relatives. By them, and by all, she was esteemed, and by them she will be missed. Her husband and two little children will mourn the loss of the dearest one on earth. No other can ever supply the place left vacant in that home. No other be the tender, loving mother of the little orphans. The knowledge that she is in a better, happier land, will do much to soothe the afflicted husband and friends. They will rejoice that while they sorrow and suffer, no pain can enter the heaven where her spirit has flown.
